The forest metaphor behind KARADAVI

Trees, trails, and canopies — why the product is designed to feel like a library, not a feed.

The visual language of KARADAVI(Knowledge Platform) draws on the idea of a forest. Entities are trees. Relationships are trails. The reading experience is a walk, not a scroll.

Why the metaphor matters

A forest is quiet, connected, and slow. Those properties are unusual on the modern internet, where most surfaces are optimised for velocity and engagement. KARADAVI is designed around the opposite goal: legibility over time.

How it shows up in the product

Each entity page renders its relationships as Forest Trails — labelled branches that lead to related entities. Articles are treated as reference material rather than headline content. Typography, colour, and pacing are chosen to feel like a printed reference rather than a feed.
